Brunchin' at the Corner

When you're live in a foreign country, you're alwasys on a search for American diners. That good ol' eggs and bacon on the grill, boxed seats, fans hanging, smell of freshly brewed coffee...

The clock itself gives that diner feel...love it
Starting off with of course, beer

Yum..fresh BLT with tomato soup, onion rings, hashbrowns, and salad

Oh, strong coffee it is...!

We were so greedy we even had dessert. Fluffy mini pancakes. Oh my it was yum.

I wasn't not happy that this place apprently stopped doing brunch service (but they weirdly serve breakfast menu after 15:00!) last year but the atmosphere is close enough. And they have such good strong coffee!

A bit off tangent, but on the way to walking off our millions of calories we found this place. A whole bookstore dedicated to food and cookbooks. Such a lovely small and cozy bookstore with the cutest selection of food books.
